Buzz Lightyear the space ranger features in the Toy Story franchise and has featured in his own movie “Buzz Lightyear of Star Command: the Adventure Begins” and television spin off “Buzz Lightyear of Star Command”.

First seen in Toy Story as a birthday gift for Andy, Buzz didn’t realise he was a toy and believed himself to be the real Buzz Lightyear and he also thinks that all of his equipment is fully functional not realising his communicator is a sticker his laser an LED etc.

In Toy Story 2, Buzz leads Slink, Mr Potato Head, Rex and Hamm on a mission to find and rescue Woody after he is stolen by the owner of Al’s Toy Barn for his collections
